What is Fairtrade coffee?

 

The Fairtrade Organisation is a non-profit organization that certifies goods like coffee, chocolate, and sugar made to strict standards that encourage sustainability and ensure that the people involved in the production are treated and compensated fairly. Equally importantly, they can negotiate and lobby toe to toe with an ethical agenda at a very heavyweight.
